Join the Rotary Club of Arlington Heights and Special Leisure Services Foundation to support recreational programs for children and adults with disabilities. Golfers will enjoy lunch, dinner and drinks along with 18 holes at the beautiful Arlington Lakes Golf Course. All proceeds will support Special Leisure Services Foundation (SLSF), the fundraising arm of Northwest Special Recreation Association (NWSRA) and the Rotary Club of Arlington Heights.

Your participation will support SLSF in fundraising towards our 5 pillars: general programs, inclusion, athletics, scholarships and accessible transportation. NWSRA provides recreational programs so that children and adults with disabilities have the opportunity to have fun, make friends, be included, go new places, learn new things and celebrate their lives.

Rotary is a worldwide volunteer organization of more than 1.4 million business professionals and community leaders united worldwide to provide humanitarian service and to help build goodwill and peace. “Service Above Self” is every Rotarian’s motto in conducting projects to address today’s challenges, including literacy, disease, hunger, poverty, lack of clean water, and environmental concerns-while all the time encouraging high ethical standards in all vocations.  Polio Plus is Rotary’s flagship program, an effort begun in 1985 to eradicate polio as a disease around the world. By the time polio is eradicated, Rotary members have contributed more than $2.1 billion and countless volunteer hours to protect nearly 3 billion children in 122 countries from polio.  And Rotary’s advocacy efforts have played a role in decisions by governments to contribute more than $10 billion to the effort. While the Rotary Club of Arlington Heights still meets weekly, not all clubs do. The Rotary Club of Arlington Heights plan and deliver service projects, discuss community and international issues, and enjoy fellowship.  Clubs are nonpolitical and open to every race, culture and creed.
